So, I had one of those nights, where I spent most of it tossing and turning. Like my brain was still trying to process some unresolved things from the day prior. You could be stressed about anything really. You can’t sleep peacefully and what’s worse you know you have to get up and get things done.
For me, I need a full 8 sometimes 9 hours of sleep otherwise, I know I will end up feeling a bit off. But then there’s those nights that keep you up only because you know there is something that weighs on your heart. It’s the tugging of what life could be if you have taken certain steps to achieve new goals or the ones you have written down for yourself.
It could be that your inner guidance is calling you to take some action on the things that matter most to you but can’t seem to get around too, during your day to day cares and juggling working fulltime.
I finally decided to stop fighting my sleep I wasn’t going to get anyway, and to get up, and trust that I do need to take action despite me knowing it’s bedtime. Once you get to working on what your body is trying to alert to you, you will end up falling asleep more soundly because you are signaling to your brain, your inner guidance that you respect what it’s asking you to do. You demonstrate to yourself you are more than willing to actually follow through, once called too. Weather this be in the beginning of the day, mid day afternoon, evening, or even in the late hours of the night.
This time it’s not so much as to finding a definite answer to what may have kept you stressing the hours before, rather it’s more about are you going to answer you when you are calling you.
