You’re Life Purpose
You will spend a good portion of your life wanting to find your life purpose. Desiring to seek what is the meaning of all things and wanting to make sense of this life you’ve been given. We are each given a deck of cards. Each of us with gifts, talents abilities that we must use for the purpose and will of God. Utilizing these gifts in our lives so that the Lord may be glorified, praised, and honored through those giftings. We all have been given certain groups of people that in some form look up to us. This is so, in order to reach those, the broken, the lost, the weak, the hurting, the wayward, and all others by bringing them into alignment and cultivating a relationship with God. Your purpose in life will always be connected to the gifts that you were born with. These are the skills that come naturally to you. Someone along the way has pointed this out, be it a teacher, a parent, a stranger, or a friend. But someone has taken notice, and you may already know as well. These are spiritual gifts. That is why spending time in prayer with the lord, is so crucial, to the plan he laid out for you to walk so that you may be aware of the spiritual gifts he has blessed and ordained you with.
God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that you and I can have a future and hope. A hope that we will all be free and know the measure to which we are called by name for God’s kingdom. The clock is ticking, and with each passing moment to moment, minute to minute, we throw away his purpose for us and ignore the calling because we deemed it not as important as our 9-5 that we’ve grown to hate.
What could cost more than living out the very reason God decided to create you, with all your abilities and weaknesses? What is worth more than the 9-5 job you have that provides little to no fulfillment?
Who can really say for sure if what you’re doing now will offer you total and complete peace?
There is nothing that could measure up and can fill you in the way your spirit craves than laying your life down and choosing to live it for Christ and in service to others. It’s time to reflect upon your hope and dreams so that you know to who you are giving your life to. Had I not given my life to the lord completely and chosen to live it for him I would have not come to the knowledge of everything he’s calling for me to pursue in his name. Therefore, I wasted time just wandering aimlessly into other interests that I believed had something to do with my calling. I tried exercising those activities and giving them a shot to find that I just ended up in a place with myself somewhere even more lost.
We must be wiser in how we should spend that time, instead of wandering aimlessly. Starting at the feet of Jesus, in his word, and prayer, to hear his direction for our lives. Had I done more of this, and understood, the value it could bring in my heart and life, I would have avoided many obstacles, that were unnecessary.
You’re Life Purpose is in you already.
You will find it in the moments when you connect with certain places, objects things, and groups of people. You will find it in the times spent with the lord. He will help to guide you in the correct direction of your tendencies that lead you to become someone more.
One way of finding this out is through the oppositions in your life. Your oppositions hold something of great value because they show you how strong you can be. Oppositions show you where one person ends and begins, and that includes you. You are going to be faced with times when everything in you will have to defend another or take a stand for someone or something that can not defend itself. And in those moments is where you may find that there aren’t many people around by your side. Do not take this personally. Especially when you’ve had the expectations that others will be there for you like you’ve vowed to be there for them no matter what. But your life purpose is not linked to people that show you where they stand. Your life purpose is when it calls you and you go for it, with somebody in your corner, or not. Feeling inadequate or capable. Sure, of yourself, or insecure. Full of hope and faith and sometimes, even feeling defeated in a battle you may believe is a losing game. Regardless, is that you listen to the call, wait on the lord to take the right actions in the right steps, and follow through with what he already ordained for you to do. Let’s get moving, into what is your life purpose, and shake off everything that isn’t.
